Sherman is a 15.3 hand 1994 Thoroughbred Chestnut gelding.
He came to FLF in August 2007 from his previous owner who
wanted to give him away to a good home.  He hadn't been dong
much for several years, but has remembered and advanced his
former career as a show horse.
Sherman was the VHSA Adult Pleasure Horse Champion (both
year-end and at the VHSA Associate Championship show) in
2008.  Here he is shown jumping with April (to the left) and
Charlsie (below) and winning the Warrenton Horse Show
thoroughbred development class with Margaret (above).  He is
also an exceptional lesson horse!!
He started a side saddle career in 2008 with ribbons at Loudon,
Warrenton, and Harrisburg and is continuing to win in the
division in 2009!
Congratulations to Sherman and April - Champion Children's Hunter their first time in the
division;
Champion Junior Pleasure Horse AND Low Hunter at multiple shows this year.
April and Sherman also won Ribbons in all their classes at the James River "A" show and
great ribbons in April's equitation classes at the July
and August Culpeper "A" shows!
